Less Time

I apologize if I am late responding to anyone. I am very busy these days and have little time. In fact every time I come to my page my mailbox is full and I don't even have room for more comments. If I haven't replied to an e-mail or comment; I probably didn't get it. As I have noticed that I am able to recieve more comments that messages. Try that, if my mailbox is full. I make an attempt to keep at least one comment from everyone.

 Have a good day>

Home school

As I submit my applications for truck driving employment I consider offers from OTR positions last. My son comes before everything and at the moment he struggles in school.

After sending 3 notes to his teacher requesting that she no longer write the answers for assignments on his paper I am left in a predicament. First I was offered to hold him back. I of course said no because he would have the same teacher again next year and he already started school late because of his birthday. Then I was offered to take him to another school altogether. I said no because my house is 2 minutes from his school and Jonathan has been with this system since he was 2 years old. Then I was offered to homeschool him. I am considering this option only as a supplement to public school.

I bought Jonathan some learning materials online and plan to pull him up to his grade level this summer. Currently he is 2 grades behind his peers but he seems to do better with my assistance. When he was in kindergarden, I used to get called from work to go to the school. It seems I have a skill dealing with special needs children that I hadn't realized. I never realized that I talked to my son differently than most parents talk to their children until I had to talk to other's children the same way. I give detailed instruction with firm guidance. It doesn't take several years of college to get through to the kids, just a heart.
