Running by their rules.
Posted On 03/27/2008 09:04:38

Hello all, this is an update to my last blog. I have started to run legal matching my logs to my qualcom.Compnays orders they want to match 90%-100% is there wish.RIGHT!!!!! Well I can say I have been doing it for three weeks and my miles have only dropped off by 125per week and the best thing is I have been called by the superviser of the dispatchers,Loadplanners he has told me due to my actions of this type it's making the load planners work harder cause I'm being difficult all because I got my ass chewed out by safety. That safety only does that so they can show DOT they took action of this tyoe but they realy dont want to force drivers to carry it to this point of making the planners have to deal with this issue.  HAHA It's working to my side of the game dont you think....

To start this the right way,I work for a company that WANTS their world to be perfect.HAHA not this life time right. Well a few weeks ago I took an ass chewing because I did my job.One that anyone driving for more than a week would do.Del the load on time and thenlog it to pass the DOT inspections right.Well when they want to match our logs to the qualcom it's another story right. So when they took a pound of my ass over this issue I have started to run 100% match and I have to say I have gotten more sleep. Yet still have kept my miles in the same area they where before.Yet I have started to make my dispatcher and the load planners for the company work to plan my loads to work within my hours I have to drive. Doing this I feel and have been told by others I have both elements of our company by the short hairs. See if I am 100% legal on my logs the safety will back me,and if the operations dept starts to lower my miles then I have them to ask. I run by your rules I lose miles and run not by your rules I get miles which do you want.So they have to keep my miles in the same area they have always been or I have the right to BITCH my ass off at them so Hey legal is working for me we all should think about it and see if it works for you also.
