Cursing was wicked;
Drugs were for illness;
And divorce was unthinkable.
The flag was honored;
America was beautiful;
And God was welcome!
We read the Bible in public;
Prayed in school;
And preached from house to house
To be called an American was worth dying for;
To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!
Preachers preached because they had a message;
And Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!
Preachers preached from the Bible;

When customers write good reviews about me to the company such as these:
The experience with your company was great. Bruce was very professional and a hard worker. He always made contact with us and informed us if there were any changes or delays. He was always on-time and very courteous. We were able to tell right away that he loves his job. Our experience with Broadway, from the beginning, was always a great one. Diana was also always very helpful and a true professional. Our new address is , Fayetteville , NC 28306 and cell # is . We will for sure always recommend Broadway.

Thank you for following up. We were very happy with the services you provided for our daughter's move to South Dakota . Everything went perfect. Your driver, Bruce "Popeye" Henning wea a great guy. He did a wonderful job getting through some very bad weather during the Christmas Holiday. All in all a problem free experience. Thank you.

Hi, Linda:
Just wanted to let you know that my move went well overall.
I had major problems with the people I initially hired to load the truck,
but my driver, Bruce Henning, came to the rescue and helped me deal with
them, and then helped to get the job done. While in transit, Bruce kept in
touch with me, and arrived at the agreed time. I also hired Bruce to unload
at destination in Tulsa. My car (which was transported inside the truck)
suffered some damage to the paint from rubbing against some furniture, but
it has already been repaired and the cost covered by my auto insurance.
If you need to contact me, here's my new address and phone number:

So in short, what began as very stressful move, ended in a good note.
I don't know how long I'll stay in this city, but if I need to move out of
state, I will probably use Broadway Express again.
Regards,
Vivian

This has truly been a wonderful experience!! We couldn't have been more pleased. Bruce, the driver, was one of the sweetest, hardest working individuals I have met in long time.
Again, thank you so much,

Dear Todd,
I would like to share my family's appreciation for the great move provided by Broadway Express.
Especially remarkable was Bruce Henning. The move from Newport, RI all the way to Seattle was perfect in our eyes.
Bruce was so nice, so helpful and informative and trustworthy.
At a time when a family move is only one of the stresses in one's life, and matched up against a previous bad moving experience, Bruce was a huge relief and a blessing.
I hope this praise reaches the owner and also gets into Bruce's file.It is alittle later than I wanted to send this, but just as heartfelt today as the day we met Bruce!
Lucky is the next guy who also gets Bruce Henning.And I hope that other drivers are similar.
Bruce kept in touch, arrived the second he planned to I could have not asked for more
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Catherine Rafferty

Thank you for contacting me regarding my move with Broadway Express from
Oregon to Missouri. I can't say enough about how great this move went for
me.
Let me first say that I did quite a bit of research on the internet
regarding different moving companies as well as a "full service" move versus
a "do it yourself" service. After considering all of my options, I went
with Broadway Express because it was very reasonably priced and their trucks
are equipped with "air ride" suspension which I came to learn was very
important in order to alleviate vibration in the truck which can cause
damage to the items inside. I also found it comforting to know that
Broadway Express provided all the items I would need to get my goods packed
within the truck, such as blankets, dollies, bracing material, etc. It was
also good to know that the driver of the truck would also be willing to help
load and unload the truck.
I used the calculators you had available on your web site and I also spoke
with your customer service representatives regarding how much space I would
need for the move. I found the calculators extremely helpful and your
customer service representatives very professional in helping me figure out
how much space I would need. Needless to say, however, I was very anxious
about having enough room and getting everything loaded into the truck
properly. At the last minute, I also ended up with more than I had planned
on, so I was really nervous about running out of room.
A few days ahead of the move, I was contacted by my driver, Bruce. He and I
agreed on a time for his arrival. We also discussed a few details about
getting the truck packed, etc. In addition to using Bruce to help load the
truck, I hired two people and I wanted to make sure everything was
coordinated for the day of the move.
Moving day arrived. Broadway's truck was there on time and in fact a little
early. As I said, I was very anxious about getting all my stuff into the
truck in the space I had reserved. When the truck arrived, I had Bruce take
a look at what needed to go into the truck. He immediately assured me that
there would be no problem getting everything in the space I had reserved.
You have no idea how much that put me at ease. Just as I said, between the
two people I hired and Bruce's AMAZING packing skills, everything went into
the truck with no problem and even a little space to spare. Bruce made sure
the people I hired were careful with all my items and he was extremely
positive the whole time, which made the experience very pleasant. The
entire process was done within a few hours and he was on his way.
Broadway Express had given me a window of time for my items to arrive on the
other end. Before he left, Bruce gave me an idea of when he might arrive in
Missouri and made sure I had his phone number just in case I wanted to call
and check on his progress, etc. My son and I drove my vehicle to our
destination and actually arrived on Wednesday and Bruce had said it would
most likely be Sunday before he arrived. He contacted me on Friday and I
let him know we had arrived. He let me know that he could come a day
earlier if I wanted him to, which worked out great because we were basically
living in an empty house. He arrived on schedule, just as he had said, on
Saturday. I was originally going to hire two people in Missouri, but after
seeing how skillful Bruce was at packing the truck, I decided that between
myself, my son and Bruce, we could handle unpacking ourselves. I did have a
few friends show up to help and we had the truck unloaded within a few
hours. Other than a few VERY minor things, everything arrived safely and
without damage.
As I said in the beginning, you have no idea how easy Broadway Express made
this move. I am very glad I did my research and found such a great company.
I would recommend them to anybody who asked. I have used full-service
moving companies in the past and have never had an experience as good as the
one I had with Broadway Express. Bruce, my driver, was very professional,
personable, prompt and pleasant to be around. Broadway Express should be
proud to have such a great representative of their company. If in the
future I ever need moving services, I would definitely use Broadway Express
again. Thank you all!

A STAR PERFORMER with at least 20 good reviews and no significant bad reviews on this website. Background, contact information, and multiple rave reviews of its self-haul operation (too many to list individually here) are on its review thread - http://www.movingscam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1935 This company is in south central Illinois at the intersection of two major interstates: 57 and 70. Although we have no reviews of Broadway as a full-service mover, it did 127 of those moves in-state in 2005 with no complaints. It has a huge warehouse that used to be a cross-dock for Bekins. It was the largest hauling agent for Bekins in the U.S. when it was a Bekins agent. Judging from the mostly rave reviews of its self-haul operation, I believe that it would do a high-quality job as a full-service mover on moves within Illinois.

I would never trade my amazing friends,
my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter
belly. As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of
myself. I've become my own friend. I don't chide myself for eating
that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly
cement gecko that I didn't need, but looks so avante garde on my patio.
I am entitled to a treat, to be messy, to be extravagant.
I have seen too many dear friends leave
this world too soon; before they understood the great freedom that
comes with aging.
Whose business is it if I choose to
read or play on the computer until 4 AM and sleep until noon? I will
dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 50's, 60's &70's, and
if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love ... I will.
I will walk the beach in a swim suit
that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves with
abandon if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set.
They, too, will get old.
I know I am sometimes forgetful. But
there again, some of life is just as well forgotten.. And I eventually
remember the important things.
Sure, over the years my heart has been
broken. How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when
a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car?
But broken hearts are what give us strength and understanding and
compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will never
know the joy of being imperfect.
I am so blessed to have lived long
enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be
forever etched into deep grooves on my face.
So many have never laughed, and so many
have died before their hair could turn silver.
As you get older, it is easier to be
positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question
myself anymore.
I've even earned the right to be
wrong.
So, to answer your question, I like
being old.. It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am
not going to live forever,
but while I am still here, I will not
waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will
be. And I shall eat dessert every single day(if I feel like it).
MAY OUR FRIENDSHIP NEVER COME APART
ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!
