My husband and I bought our 1st truck in 1976 and sold our last one in 1988. We always owned peterbilts and pulled flatbed. My husband was 23 when we bought the first pete. It was a 1974 cabover with a 350 cummins. Our last was a 1982 longnose extended cab with a 425 cat and 15 sp. My husband died this past November from lung cancer at the young age of 54. We had been together for 37 years. I have 2 grown kids - a daughter 34 and a son 30 and 5 grandchildren.I guess I joined this site to remenice the old days when we were on the road together. Boy were those good days- we sure had a lot of fun.
