Spent last Wed in Mira Loma waiting for a BIT inspection, ended up getting an "A" inspection. Then got a run to McCarrin, Nv did a little miss calculation on fuel as I ran out of fuel 70 miles from our Sparks terminal. Normally with the miles to run and the amount of fuel no problem. The mistake I made was forgetting the steep climbs on US395. It has been a long time since I ran 395. Next I deadheaded to Fairfield, Ca for a pickup which delivered yesterday in Grandview, Wa. You know, I love to drive. I love to drive a big truck and I love to drive my pick-up, I even love to drive my wife's car. I have been hearing a lot more about truckers threatening to strike. Please read my comments on it over there as well. Problem is I see too many gut-less wonders in America these days. I have gotten nasty e-mails saying why am I not organizing a strike? Um, hellllo, that's not so easy to do, people!
