After Albuquerque we went to So Cal delivered in East L.A. we arrived the night before and hung out in Hesperia in the high desert after our delivery we managed to get to the Fontana terminal (my home terminal) which I had not been to in 6 months or so. . Well, I have returned to training new drivers to the wonderful life of over the road truck driving. This will be the first time in 3 years since I have trained a new driver. Most new drivers are just that new outside of trucking school they have no experience driving big rigs. Most have worked behind a desk and went into trucking because they lost their previous job and could not find other employment. So I go to get my physical from a doctor who my family has been seeing for years. After an hour of the physical the doctor comes in with the results. Everything came back great. My blood pressure was 130 / 80, my urine sample came back normal, my eye site was 20 left 20 right 15 both, my weight was at 202. When it came to my Zoloft the doctor agreed that it was a very small amount at 50 mg. He also agreed that it was not going to affect my ability to drive a rig. The pr... Read More
The day is getting closer, as the anticipation grows I can only think of the road ahead. I am anxious and somewhat nervous of the physical coming this Friday, as this will determine my fate. Do to the medication I am taking I have to follow D.O.T. Regulations and get a clearence from my doctor stating I am competant and that my medication will not effect my ability to drive.
